Vanity Hair Studio was established in February of 2008, in Portsmouth NH originally. Since Heidi White opened the doors, the salon has been booming with happy clients and has earned a great business reputation. Heidi has expanded the salon several times, and in Spring 2023 bought and remodeled her very own salon! It now occupies the 1700 square foot studio she independently owns and operates. Because of her easy going personality and love of good energy, she and her amazing team have turned the studio into a huge success, and it was even nationally chosen by Elle Magazine as top 100 salons in the US two years in a row. The people of the seacoast area continue to choose Vanity Hair Studio as their home for beautiful hair, special occasion hair, or for perfect brows and lashes or even bright white teeth.
You can find Vanity Hair Studio on Dover Point road located in the Dover Office Park, the newly renovated salon was purchased and remodeled in the winter of 2022 and opened in the spring of 2023. We are a stone’s throw away from Bill Dube Ford and the Tendercrop farm, with a large free parking lot out front of the salon, allowing easy-access for wedding parties and clients to drive in and park with ease! Since then, Jess has dedicated herself to honing her skills and providing exceptional hair services. Claire is a talented and emerging Rockstar hair stylist at Vanity Hair and Makeup Studio. Her passion for cosmetics and hair inspired her to become a professional makeup artist and hair designer. She enjoys connecting with clients and helping them express their inner beauty through their outward appearance. Claire possesses a natural ability to assess a client's needs and create a transformative new look if desired. Her attention to detail is exceptional.

Jaylyn's always known she wanted to work in the beauty industry, even before starting high school. She joined the Dover High School Cosmetology Program as a sophomore in 2020 and got her license right after graduating in 2022. To get a head start, she worked at a salon while still in school, learning the ropes and starting her journey in 2021. After three years there, she moved to Vanity Hair Studio in 2024.
She loves meeting new people, building relationships, and learning something new every day – that's what solidified her decision to be in this industry.
She's especially good at fixing color mishaps, creating trendy shades, and blonding services like balayage, babylights, and foils. She also loves doing updos!
She's certified in dry cutting/texturizing, Brazilian Blowouts, and sewn-in hair extensions.
